Green Phantom Quartz (man made)

This Green Phantom Quartz is an interesting specimen and in some eyes controversial, as it has been grown by man rather than Mother Nature.
The process is similar to nature but speed up. A small quartz cluster (seed) is heated, then allowed to cool, heated and allowed to cool over and over, hence making the phantoms you see in the crystal, a treatment (chromium or chlorite) is also added to obtain the vibrant green hue.
I’m sure the actual process is much more complicated than described above but this is the general idea of how they are made.

Man made Green Phantom Quartz still has a great vibration and a symbol of renewal, growth and transformation, just like the process of making this interesting specimen.
